Good morning!

Today we will be discussing the positive changes within the African American community following Reconstruction and the desire of some to try to "turn back the clock" in the post-Reconstruction period.

A fire in a nightclub in Warwick, R.I., killed 100 and injured over 150.  ***Most of the dead were found piled up at the front door; it was the only door not blocked. Because it opened in, it could not be opened as people were overcome by the heat and smoke.****
