BONUS - Why is Veteran's Day celebrated on Nov 11 at 11 a.m.? Why was it originally called Armistice Day?

This day is the signing of armistice, ended the WW1 hostilities between the allied nations & germany in 1918. Armistice means the end of the war to end all wars.
