How is the US Constitution a better form of government than the Articles of Confederation were?
The USC (US Constitution) had a better system of gov't.

DeleteI think that the power shouldn't be all put one one person. Creating the Constitution was a good idea so that in the future (now) if the president wanted to do something then he would be able to and cause of the Constitution things must be seconded.

ReplyDeleteThe Constitution was better than the Articles of Confederation, because the Articles of Confederation had many weaknesses. The Federal Government created by the Constitution is strong and powerful. Both documents were made in the late 1700's.
ReplyDeleteI believe that the Constitution is indeed better that the Articles of Confederation b/c the Constitution is more of a radical/democratic movement that unified and benefited the country and not just a single state.

DeleteThe Constitution of the United States created a form of government known as federalism. The Constitution made the agreement and any laws passed under the Constitution, the supreme law of the land. Three separate branches were created, the legislative, executive, and judicial. Each branch had specific powers while also having the ability to check the powers of the other two branches.
ReplyDeleteThe constitution created a much stronger government than the one created by the articles of confederation. The constitution divides the power between the states and the central government to make sure the parts of the federal gov't. we'rent too strong. Where as the articles of confederation created a gov't. that gave the states too much power. It created a confederation of ind. states, not a nation.

The us constitution had a more organized form of government separated into three branches. The Judicial ,executive, and lgeslative branches of government.
The US Constitution is a better form of government than the Articles of Confederation because the Constitution created an equal government for the US. It split the power into 3 equal branches; judicial, legislative and executive. It also created the form of government called federalism which was a step to making the US government more equal. Overall, the US Constitution is a better form of government than the Articles of Confederation.

It had the legislative, judicial, and it had the executive branch. It was like a system of checks and balances between them. None of them had more power than the other. Each of them checked one another. It had more equal rights than the Articles of Confederation.
